Kind regards, Nikita Noemi Rothenbächer

The philosopher Francis Bacon once said “Knowledge is Power”. I am often tired and without faith or courage, but I believe that you don't actually have to fight against these conditions, but rather give yourself up to them, sometimes cry, sometimes brood thoughtlessly, and afterwards it becomes apparent that the soul has actually lived and something is in it one has moved forward. Nowadays people get used to everything and accept certain things as normal. "There are few who distinguish between endurance and oppression. Before we strive for freedom, it is important to become aware of the imposed ideas about what we should think, do and believe. Breaking this mold is the beginning of a revolution in our thinking.” We live in a world where we hide to make love while violence is perpetrated in broad daylight! "Nothing in this world is permanent, not even our worries. Many of the new worries that wanted to vehemently take root there at times have disappeared!" Man's greatest merit remains when he determines the circumstances as much as possible and allows himself to be determined by them as little as possible. Knowledge is power, so if we blindly believe everything we read, the saying “knowledge is power” means one thing above all: that others have power over us and we are easy to manipulate. And this happens whenever we know nothing about certain circumstances, i.e. we are “ignorant”. So you might think that knowledge alone is enough to give you an advantage over others. Taking it a little further, it would be possible that education equals power, that someone who has no access to education also has nothing to say. Because whoever has power has influence. At the same time, education means access to new things, knowledge about how other people think, act and live. Civic education enables people to get involved, to make changes and, above all, to have a say. Knowledge enables you to express your opinion and that is a fundamental right. So should knowledge be a fundamental right and not just in Germany? The majority of people have no idea what treasure of knowledge each of them carries with them. They are not aware of it. However, this knowledge is unused. But this is only true if it is arbitrarily and freely available knowledge that - because it is sufficiently networked - can be used at any time and in a wide variety of contexts and thus contribute to creative solutions - not only, but also - to problems. The way we convert information that we experience and perceive consciously or unconsciously into knowledge and how we then store this knowledge in memory can certainly stand in the way of this availability. Because what we ultimately call “knowledge” is not an unchangeable fact, not an absolute. “Knowing” is not “just there,” just as “thinking” is not just there. It emerges. And that means: it can be influenced to a certain extent, can be learned and also changed subsequently by influencing the individual steps of the process of combining it to form “new” knowledge and ultimately its previous results. So make a little more effort so that you can have a say! Kind regards, Nikita Noemi Rothenbächer
